[cobalt-developers] Log files

Hi. This really isn't my field but I've been landed with it ...

I want to be able to get web-stats off our server. It already appears 
to
compile stats once a day but some time in the night it starts a new 
set
and over-writes the old log.file.

Is there any way of archiving the log.file at the end of the day for
down-loading later?

Or have I got it all wrong?
