badsh reads the message using gettext. Change the message in the
special-sauce.po file under /etc/cobalt/messages/en_US/ , then rebuild the
gettext language database and put it under
/usr/share/locale/en_US/LC_MESSAGES/special-sauce.mo .
You should now get whatever message you set.

it`s a "hello world" like c program called badsh. (/usr/bin/, as i
remember).
be VERY careful what you do; i saved a new one, typed fast and did not
type the "d". bash (=your shell) is in the same directory; i had a
really SEVERE problem after that...
