What about getting it for RaQ2!! (:>
That would sure be very nice of Cobalt if they would do it as well as
getting the Apache 1.3.12 for RaQ2 with the support for MySQL 3.22.32
As they point out a few times on this list, it is not so hard to compile it.
Well as they (Cobalt) get use to compile stuff all the time, I am sure for
them it would be a lot easier they it would be for us. It is not like asking
for the new kernel where, yes they would need to do some work, but hey,
compiling the below software shouldn't be that hard, should it!
Never the less, I did compile the MySQL 3.22.32 version and upload that to
cobalt in the incoming ftp server, but the files never maid it to the
contribution directory.
So, it is a bit difficult to get the .rmp version from Cobalt. I sure wish
they would compile the new version of the most commonly use software, and
make them available for download. That would be very nice support form them
and show a bit of continuing support on their product and mostly for their
users (buyer of Cobalt product!).
May be it is asking to much as even when we send compile version to be share
by others, it doesn't even make it to the contribution directory.
My 0.02$ worth.
That would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NNNNIIIICCCEEEE!!!!
May be as a suggestion for Cobalt, I would very appreciate to get a program
where someone would compile the new version of software and make them
available on their server. Wouldn't that be so nice and show support to
their customer!!!
Or even much better, PUT IN THE KNOWLEDGEBASE REAL INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO DO
IT OUR SELF. And please put some details in there, that would be even so
much better and would make the KNOWLEDGEBASE useful, for me anyway.

PS: I know this would void the warranty. You don't need to tell me.
But I could get more use out of it instead of looking at the competition
were you always have the new version available for download including the
kernel. One very attractive server comparable at Cobalt and I am nice here
to not say more!

Hi all,
How long do people think it will be before a set of PHP4.rpms is available
for the RAQ3? Or are they already out there somewhere?
Kind regards,
