I'm no Cobalt rep, just a software geek :)

We will continue to support the Qube/Raq mips lines (wrt kernel) with
security fixes and driver updates.  I don't expect a 2.2 or 2.4 kernel
on the mips products to be supported, though I'd love to see one go out
"unofficially".
