On the CGI wrap issue there is an article in the knowledge base about
disabling it at

with .htaccess files so you can do it site by site saves messing with the
apache config although I'm with the rest on this one if its what you want to
do on your head be it!!!

To introduce a related question does anybody know how to get around cgi-wrap
truncating errors in the error log for cgi scripts??? it usually takes off
the line no which is soooo helpful;-)
