Are you getting any error messages? Have you tried telnetting into the
mail-server, pretending to be delivering mail, to see what happens?

It looks to me as if mail delivered to "user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx" will be
properly delivered, presuming there's a box or alias for said user on
the server answering to 216.90.250.61.
But there are so many other variables here.

I can't figure it out either; there's nowhere enough information here.
Where's your logs? Where's your alias files? Where's your
virtusertable file? Have you ever touched this system buy hand through
telnet, or only through the gui?
What model Cobalt system is this?
