I think the html is not properly formated and is messing up the perl
script. Since this was the first perl script I ever wrote and didn't
know about $_ the line should read:
while ($line = <PASSIT>) {
well, so it would be a nice idea to correct the html-code in the knowledge base. just juse "<" and ">" instead of "<" and ">", cause a browser interprets it as an (illegal) html tag if you don't use entities for it.
