The O'Reilly Sendmail book is a good troubleshooting reference.  You'll
need to get a little more info to troubleshoot it.  What seems slow,
message sending?

Are the nameservers you are using responding?  (the ones listed in the
/etc/resolv.conf)  I had a similar problem with an application that sent
email replies from a message board.  It turns out the co loc changed the
nameserver I was using.
