Cobalt Developer Relations will be compiling and providing .pkg files of php for both mips-based and i386-based Cobalt server appliances. Currently, we have one for mips at
ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/developer/php-3.0.7-1C4.mips.pkg .  Others will follow, with hooks for specific databases.

As Sean notes below, these are not officially supported by Cobalt, but are provided as a service to our developer community.
