Hi there!

Recently I discovered that my portable's terminal program wouldn't allow me to set
the speed to 115kb/s, which is required for the boot-time diagnostics from the
Qube2 serial port.  I have found a very handy solution and thought I would pass it
along.

Using the standard Palm "modem" cable:

and a teminal program, for instance:

<http://www.markspace.com/online.html>

you can plug your palm right into the box and capture the output to a timestamped
memo.  Very handy, I find: no 9-pin gender changers or anything.
