On a RaQ 2, you can use the Darwin Streaming Server from Apple, an open source, standards-based server. Right now, you'll have to compile it yourself -- in the future I hope we can post a pre-compiled binary to our web or ftp site.
You can not stream Real or Microsoft proprietary media formats from a RaQ 2.
On the RaQ 3, you have choices for streaming all these media formats.
You can use the Real server software to stream their proprietary formats.
You can use Burstware from Burst.com to stream Microsoft's proprietary format.
And you can use Teracast from Entera, or Darwin from Apple, to stream standards-based content.
