hi,
At 10.03.00 06:07, you wrote:
Has anyone deployed ipfwadm (or ipchains even) on a RaQ2? I'm not sure
there is kernel support for for it in the current RaQ2 2.0.x kernel.
i don't think that there is ipchains support (but works fine on a raq3...),
but you can use ipfwadm. i'm working on an ip-based traffic analysis tool
(because a server doesn't only produce www-traffic that is shown in the
built-in statistics... what's about mail traffic? or... mysql traffic?) und
i'm very happy with this package:
ftp://ftp.rpmfind.net/linux/0/SGILinux/redhat-5.0/RPMS/mipseb/ipfwadm-2.3.0-5.mips.rpm
dunno if/how NAT/IPMasq works, but counting the ip packet sizes works fine :)
cya, jonas.
