Re: [cobalt-developers] Sun java?

We have an upgrade package at ftp://ftp.cobalt.com/put/developer which
contains the newest JRE 1.2.2 from Sun for Linux which operates on the RaQ3
systems. Be forewarned though, this is the RUNTIME environment only and
has only undergone preliminary testing on our part.

If you wish to compile Java files on the machines, you must go to the Sun
site at http://www.javasoft.com and download the JDK 1.2.2 for Linux directly
from them (due to licensing issues). Their distribution is done in a simple
tarball which extracts to a single directory on your machine which you can
then move to a convenient location.
