Hi Barry -
Even though the problems which are arrising are specific to Cobalt's
administration, it is still Linux. You can ask most any linux admin, and
most any of those admin's would be happy to tell you how to save 26gb of
data!
Yea I know. Its a test box I have no problem with any loss here My
operational box is very safe, the box Im testing is not due to replace it
until I have tested this cobalt box to virtual destruction here in my Lab.
I reported the finding incase some one needed some experiences of what
could go wrong and seems to have.
My config is I have added to the RAQ3 an extra Internal 26Gb disk on a
cobalt disk mounting bracket and its running as slave off the 8.4 Gb disk
that was supplied with the box.
all approved as a test. hence the /dev/hdb1 etc.
Oh the backup works fine. just restored 8Gb of virtual sites.

Linux is the most flexible of anything and all of everything that has to do
with a computer. If you can't do it one way, you can still do it at least
two dozen other ways. Please let me know if you require any help!
