RE: [cobalt-developers] Developers Kit

That's not what the dev kit is for.

See the README file:

This devkit.pkg file updates your Cobalt server appliance to an updated
collection of Linux OS and software tools for Cobalt. These can be found
individually on
  ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/experimental/ .
This devkit.pkg file includes new kernels, tools, and compilers,
essentially the operating system and development environment.

If you want to change the look of Cobalt's html pages you need
to edit the templates and html files at /etc/skel
and /usr/admserv/hmtl/.cobalt/

Subject: [cobalt-developers] Developers Kit

I have recently installed the developers kit

 ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/developer/devkit-0.4.mips.pkg

This is probably a stupid question, where will I see the advantages from
the package on my server. My original goal was to be able to customize
the users web pages to a more professional look. please let me know

thanks

Domenic
